What Frank Did before Volunteering With Us:
After Frank graduated from school, he worked with the Social Security Administration for a year.
He then worked at an insurance company for 37 years, working his way up to supervising and management positions.
How He Learned About Us:
Once Frank retired, he found that many people were asking him questions about Medicare when they found out about his work background. Unfortunately, Frank had experience in every kind of insurance except Medicare! So he decided to look for a volunteer organization that deals with Medicare issues. Medicare Rights Center was the only organization that popped up in the search engine.
Frank says that it was his �one successful search� on the internet!
Why Volunteering With Us Appealed to Him:
At first, Frank wanted to become a literacy volunteer; however, since he is the primary caregiver for his 100-year-old mother, his evenings are usually full. The Medicare Rights Center and its flexible hours for volunteers fit his schedule perfectly.
How Long Has Frank Volunteered Here:
Frank started volunteering here in 2006.
Interests:
Frank�s hobbies include: reading, watching movies and plays, playing along to Jeopardy on television, and hanging out with his friends at the local bar (they have met at the same bar for 37 years).
