Volunteer Opportunities

Hotline Volunteers

Our hotline volunteers are based in our New York City offices, where they assist people with Medicare through one-on-one telephone counseling.

Volunteers answer callers' questions and provide guidance on a wide range of Medicare issues—from how to select a supplemental plan to how to deal with a claim that has been denied. They also help ensure that their clients' rights are upheld, and make referrals when appropriate.

If you are interested in becoming a hotline volunteer, please register for our Open House. You�ll learn more about the Medicare Rights Center, how volunteers contribute to our mission, and meet staff and other volunteers. No commitment is required prior to registration.
