Seniors Out Speaking on Medicare (SOS Medicare) Volunteers

Volunteers in the Seniors Out Speaking on Medicare (SOS Medicare) program visit senior centers, religious institutions, public housing projects, clubs and other sites throughout Westchester County and New York City. At each visit, they present a "Medicare Minute," a short lecture about an important health care topic, and provide Medicare counseling.

SOS Medicare volunteers in Westchester County, New York, can also help people with Medicare through other Westchester-based programs.

If you are interested in becoming an SOS Medicare volunteer, please register for our Open House. You’ll learn more about the Medicare Rights Center, how volunteers contribute to our mission, and meet staff and other volunteers. No commitment is required prior to registration.
